IMAGS:
 Real-Time Camera Processing

Role: Real-Time Visual Effects & Projection
Tools: Notch VFX, Real-Time Camera Feed

Original videos by: Cédric Gleyal (Uriprod)
Collaboration: Captured live performances of musicians on stage, projecting the footage with real-time visual effects onto screens during the concert, creating a dynamic, immersive experience for the audience.

Imags – Live camera feeds. Transformed in real time.

WHAT IT IS

IMAG (Image Magnification) is the live camera relay projected on stage screens during a concert. Most productions display a clean feed. I take it further.

Using Notch VFX, I apply real-time visual effects directly onto the camera signal — during the show, frame by frame, with zero pre-render. The audience sees the artist on screen, but the image is alive: textured, distorted, layered, reacting to the performance as it happens.

WHAT I DO TECHNICALLY

Signal processing Live camera input processed through Notch VFX in real time. Output delivered as Notch Block or via NDI or SDI — compatible with Resolume, Smode, and standard media server setups.

Effect types available Generative overlays · Chromatic aberration · Glitch & datamosh · Particle systems · Color grading & LUT · Geometric distortion · Feedback loops · Motion-reactive layers

Latency Sub-3-frame pipeline. Optimized for lip-sync critical applications.

Setup Operates as a Notch Block processing node — inserted in your media server. No reconfiguration of your existing video workflow required.

WHY IT MATTERS FOR YOUR PRODUCTION

Stage visuals and IMAG have always been two separate worlds: pre-rendered content on screens, clean relay on the IMAG. This integration collapses that separation.

The artist's live presence and the visual design become one continuous layer. Transitions, energy shifts, improvisations — the image responds in real time rather than running on timecode.

For production studios and artistic directors working on arena and festival shows, this adds a live visual dimension that no pre-rendered content can replicate.

COLLABORATION

I work directly with production studios, live designers, and artistic directors. Integration into your existing workflow is the baseline — not an exception.

Available for touring productions, one-off shows, and R&D sessions.
