Superposed – The Fusion of AI and 3D Animation

Superposed is a groundbreaking digital art installation that explores the limitless possibilities of combining human creativity with artificial intelligence. In this project, I reimagined traditional 3D animation by integrating AI-generated textures and visual elements, resulting in a dynamic and richly textured digital artwork.

The creative process began with the design of a 3D animation using Notch VFX, a cutting-edge tool for real-time 3D graphics. This base animation was then enhanced by injecting it into an AI system, specifically Comfy UI and Animated Diff, which generated new visual layers that evolved from the original animation. The AI-created textures were then projected back onto the 3D model through a technique known as camera mapping, allowing the AI and human-created elements to coexist in perfect harmony.

The result is a visually stunning and fluid digital artwork that reflects the synergy between technology and creativity. The fluid motion and evolving textures give life to a dynamic visual narrative, constantly shifting and adapting, much like the collaboration between the artist and the AI.

In Superposed, the use of Topaz AI enhanced the video resolution, while Control Net ensured that the AI respected the original forms and movements of the 3D animation. Additionally, the project features an AI-assisted musical composition, further deepening the immersive experience with audio that harmonizes with the visuals.

Superposed is more than a visual spectacle; it's a testament to the evolving relationship between technology and artistic expression, showcasing how AI can augment and transform the creative process.
